Congrats Grad!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to my youngest brother Reed for graduating from high school!!! You did it!! I can't believe that this day has come. It seems like yesterday that I graduated. It was nice to go back to my high school and see how much it has changed. I was the first graduating class in 02 and the school was not completely finished. Now they have an amazing football statium and a swimming pool. I know it is normal to have all of those things but when I went there we didn't have any of them. Now it has been five years since I graduated. Wow! That went by pretty fast. Congrat's Reed!! We love you!!!

Updated pics of Travis and the 3 hour tour we DIDNT plan on...

FYI this is Travis' uncle Jeremy posting and updating this "blog" of ours....brieann has been under the weather lately, and this weekend has been very.....interesting.... We had a shopping spree letdown, a 3 hour tour, a flat tire, and even BEES in our APARTMENT!!!! Friday I met Brie at her work which is right next to South Coast Plaza and we went looking for dresses/stuff for her basically. I go along as her official fashion guru/consultant. We scoured the mall, and found some real good stuff but in the end NOTHING would FIT MODESTLY!!!! I feel bad for girls now, really, I have learned how freaking tough and frustrating it is to look for good clothes and then to find good clothes that fit modestly..... Especially when you are tall.

Saturday we went to Moorpark, which is a really nice place with really nice family (brieanns aunt/uncle/cute cousins live there). We took Gramps with us and met the whole side of that family out at the house to have a pool party/bbq with all the cousins/fam. Because of traffic it took us 3 hrs 15 mins (not that i was counting from the oven aka the backseat of our car). I learned extreme patience and more love for my dear family in moorpark....i love those kids...i hate that drive...!!!!
Cambria and Parker...Two of the cute little rascals... Our camra died so we didn't get to many pics that day. Their dog Bower.... Jack Bower. Gotta love that sweater! hahaha...

Sunday morning I woke up to find a screw in my tire, and then sunday afternoon Brieann sees 2 bees inside the apartment......hours later she discovers 4 or 5 MORE bees all over our apartment! So the maintenance guy comes out to check it out, thank goodness I speak spanish because I was not understanding a word he was saying and he was not getting the problem we had! Check this out...he puts a plastic grocery bag over his head, adds some goggles over his eyes, and takes a bee-killing spray downstairs and finds bees swarming around the stairs and starts yelling to get in your car and to get away from the bees!!! lol it was hilarious!!!! this guy looked so funny....it was like he was saving our lives or something......but he was a nice guy and were grateful he helped us out.

6 months and counting...

On the 18th it will be officially 6 months until my little brother returns from his mission in Harrisburg, PA! Wow, I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. I'm not sure if it has gone by faster for him or our family. He has been doing so great out there and we are all very proud of him. He is such a great example to our family of service and charity. We love you Elder Poole!!!This is an old pic of me and Shane from X-mas 05. Love ya bro!

These are some pics of him with his mission president and his wife and one of his comps. I guess I need to get some more recent pics! But look how much he has changed! He acutally looks like an Elder! Who would have thought! jk. He is looking a little chubby in his pic :) Must be the good food out there.

He's Here!!!!

There is a new little addition to the Murdock family. Baby Travis Robert Murdock was born on Sat. June 9th. He weighs 7lbs 2oz and is 20 1/2 in long. He is the cutest little thing and we are so happy to have him here. He came a week early but his parents were ready for him.

Scott, the proud father. He looks like a natural holding his first baby.

I got to hold him just an hour after he was born. It is such a miracle how babies come into this world. They are so precious. He will be so much fun to have in the family. He is already 3 days old now so I will have to post some more recent pics of him later. Congrats to the new parents Scott and Mary!!!

Baby Jacob

Last Saturday Jeremy and I went out to Riverside to visit our good friends Ashley and Jake and to have a BBQ. Jacob is getting so big and he is so cute! It was hard for him to stay still for me to get a pic but here he is!

~The Flower Fields~

My sweet, thoughtful husband loves to surprise me and plan fun dates for us. About 3 weeks ago he took me to The Flower Fields in Carlsbad. I LOVE flowers and I was so shocked when I found out where we were. Usually our dates consist of something we both love, but I was for sure that on this date he was only thinking about me! I had never heard of the place but I guess he found it online. As you can see in the pictures, there are just rows and rows of all different types of flowers!!! It was amazing! There are also rose gardens and strawberry fields. We walked around and took pictures and then had lunch at the Carlsbad outlets and did some shopping!!! It was a fun yet relaxful day.

Est.Oct.07.2006

Welcome to the Murdock blog. I have been trying to find time to figure this out and I have finally got around to putting it together. To say a little about us, Jeremy and I met at the singles ward in Placentia shortly after he returned from his mission in Asuncion, Paraguay. We were married in the San Diego temple last October. Jeremy loves playing and watching sports, especially USC football. He is already making me memorize this seasons new depth chart...lol. Pretty much every Saturday in the fall is booked for college football. But I don't mind, I grew up with two brothers so I'm used to it. We both enjoy working out, playing sports together and just staying active. Weather it's playing volleyball, tennis, football, going running at the beach, we're up for anything!!
