We have been wanting to take a family trip to Disneyland ever since we moved back to California. When we were deciding what to get Kylee for her 3rd birthday we thought that would be the perfect gift! She is all about the Disney princesses and we knew she would have a great time and hopefully be able to remember it. She was even excited riding the tram into the park. And the adventure begins!! Beware.... there are a lot of pictures :)
Day 1 - Austin stayed home with Grandma so we could spend the whole day with Kylee.
Standing with Daddy in front of the princess castle!
We waited and waited to see the princesses. Today she got to meet Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. She was soooooo excited to meet them, but was super shy when they were talking to her. I think she was star struck. After meeting them she said, "Mom, the princesses love me!" Too cute. Our first ride was It's a Small World After All. They have re-done the ride since I have been last and it was really neat! Kylee caught on to the song real quick and was singing it all day long.
Daddy took her on the Tea Cups and she loved it!
Alice and Wonderland ride
Dumbo!!
Keeping hydrated! It was a very hot day.
Taking off on the Peter Pan ride. I love her nervous face. This ride ended up being one of her favorites!
Pirates of the Caribbean! She loved this ride too.
T-I-G-G-E-R
Pooh Bear
The Winnie the Pooh ride was actually really cute. We went on it a lot because it only had a 5 min wait.
SPLASH MOUNTAIN!!!! She loved this ride! As you can see in the pic she is smiling and I'm screaming!!
We ran into Wendy from Peter Pan!
This girl still naps and she was exhausted!!
By the time we ordered food she had fallen asleep on me. We saved her food and she ate it at the Disney Parade.
Excited to watch the parade!! I video taped the whole thing and I'm glad I did because she was hilarious. She would scream anytime she saw something new coming, especially the princesses.
Day 2 - Austin got to come today!!! I was excited for him to have this experience too, even though he won't remember it.
Waiting in line for the princesses for the second time. This time she got to meet Ariel and Tiana. Jeremy took Austin on a train ride because he didn't last long.
One last smile before he ran off out of line.
Ariel
Princess Tiana, her FAVORITE lately :)
Small World. This was one of the two rides Austin went on and he loved it! It seemed to keep his attention the whole time, except for the end when he wanted to climb out of the boat into the water.
Austin's second ride, the carousal.
We got to meet Pluto! Austin was really excited!
Our family picture at Disneyland!!! As you can tell Austin was ready to be done with pictures.
Later that day Ruby, Kylee's best friend met up with us and went on some rides. These girls had so much fun and held hands the entire time.
I promise she wanted to meet goofy, she just looks a little terrified.
Climbing in Princess Aurora's castle.
My princess in front of the castle.
Daddy bought us yummy mickey, chocolate covered pretzels to eat before the parade.
It really was a magical two days of fun and memories to share with our kids. I can't wait until our next trip!!!
