Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! This year we spent Thanksgiving with Jeremy's family. We are so lucky to live close to one another right now. We had a delicious ham and turkey dinner with all the fixin's.

Travis is into feeding himself now. It was so cute watching him try and feed himself with a fork.

After dinner we played Cranium and the GIRLS won!!!! This was exciting because the whole time we were playing Jeremy would say, "I have NEVER lost at Cranium." I guess he met his match. It was awesome. On Friday we ate leftovers and helped get ready for Christmas!!!! I was crazy enough to wake up at 5:00 am to stand in line with my friends at JoAnn Fabrics. We got so much cute fabric! I think we were there a total of 5 hours. Now I have tons of fabric for projects that should last me a while. It was so much fun and I will most likely be back next year!

Happy Birthday Jeremy!!!!

November 19th was Jeremy's 25th birthday! This is a pic of him in the kindergarten! Isn't he SO cute!!!??

For breakfast I made Jeremy scrambled eggs and potatoes with red and green bell peppers - his favorite. I also surprised him with a cinnamon roll from Cinnabun! That was a special treat. For dinner I made Jeremy one of his favorite meals, chicken parmesan. He also got his homemade chocolate chip brownies as requested for his cake. He has been very busy with school ending soon so we didn't get to do anything during the week. On Friday night we were able to go to one of his favorite bbq restaurant's, Stone Fire Grill. It was ofcourse, DELISH! We went with our friends the Neville's and Shelton's. Look at Eva waving to the camera. She is so cute!

After dinner we went back to the Shelton's to play games, but not before Paul could show Jeremy his cool eye thingy that Optomitrists use to examine the eye. He thought it was pretty cool. In the pic below he doesn't seem very confident and comfortable, which is why I am glad he majored in business.

Below is a pic of Jeremy with USC football coach Pete Caroll. He LOVES college football, especially the USC Trojan's. I'm so glad he was able to go to a practice and meet the coach and some players. I am so lucky to be married to Jeremy. He is so sweet and thoughtful and makes me feel so loved. He loves to surprise me and always makes me feel special. He is so funny and is my most favorite person to be with! I am so proud of how hard he has been working this semester. We will both be happy when this semester is over! It is so cute how excited he gets when we talk about our baby. I know he will be a great dad! I can't wait!!!

Cambria's Day

My sweet cousin Cambria was baptized on her birthday, November 2nd. We are so happy we were able to celebrate this special day with her. She looked so cute in her white baptism dress. Camie, Annie, Mckenn and I all wore the same dress on our baptism day. I made her the bag she is holding in almost all the pics. She loved it! Thanks to the help from my good friend Erin.Cute girls.
Cambria asked Jeremy to talk at her baptism. He did a great job.

Trick or Treat?

This isn't a Trick but it's quite a Treat!

Yep! That's right. We're pregnant!!! :) Right now I am 10 weeks along. Jeremy and I are so happy we have been given such a blessing. I haven't had any morning sickness which I am very grateful for. I did have a headache for the first 2 weeks straight, but nothing a little tylenol and sleep couldn't cure. Lately I haven't had much of an appetite. I will even cook my favorite meals and they do nothing for me. It's like I can't taste anymore. But I do have a new love for Mexican food. This may be because it is spicy and I can actually taste something. Hopefuly I will be healthy enought so I can work until the end of my pregnancy.

The proof...

Here is the first picture of our little baby. This pic was taken at about 8 1/2 weeks. If you look close you can see the head, arms and little legs. I was just glad I could see it. We are so thankful for this blessing and are excited to start this next chapter in our lives with Jeremy finishing school soon and the little one* arriving soon too~!

Arizona

This past weekend we had a quick but fun trip to Gilbert, AZ . My cousin Chris has been called to serve in the Toronto Canada Mission. All the family got together to support Chris and we were able to do a session in the Mesa temple. This was my first time inside the Mesa temple and it was beautiful! Chris really touched us all when he spoke in church. He has always been the young and quiter one in the family and it was nice to hear him speak. He is blessed with such a strong testimony of the gosple and I know he'll be a great missionary.

Chris and Gramps

Jeremy did a great job driving, the Arizona hghways were not kind to us on Friday night as we made our way to Gilbert-they shut down the interstate completely and made us take a 13 mile detour through the middle of nowhere! We were almost out of gas so Jeremy was freaking out hoping we would make it to the next gas station...which we did right as the E light came on~! 7 hours later we arrived at Jeremy's good friend Bryce's house.

Some highlights of the trip were eating at Cafe Rio!!! This place has the best pork salads. We also got to enjoy hanging out with family and friends in Gilbert. We pigged out on the classic family spinach dip and rice crispy treats!!! And of course going to the Mesa temple. The drive home was a breeze. I practically slept the whole way while Jeremy drove and we made it home much faster than before...much faster! We are so proud of Chris and love him so much and wish him all the success on his mission in Toronto!!!!

USC 28, ASU 0

On Saturday Jeremy and I were lucky enough to get awesome tickets (from an awesome friend) to go to the USC vs ASU football game. This is how we sorta celebrated our anniversary. We had the whole day to spend together. We started the day off by meeting our friends for a tail gate party and ate delicious breakfast buritto's, home baked bread, cookies, develed eggs, and salmon! Jeremy was in heaven because he was also able to watch the Texas vs Oklahoma game with the guys before our game started.

These are the amazing host's of the USC tailgate parties we have attended for a few years now. They are so generous and love football and having a good time. We always have so much fun with them. Harris teaches in the dental program at USC and they never miss a game.

Jeremy competing in the "Armchair Quarterback" event-He made a nice throw and won the prize-he said he did it for me! haha That's 2 weeks in a row that Jeremy has won the free event stuff at the coliseum.

Jeremy loves coming here.....

The view from our seats! Thanks Tyler/Tyler's dad for the tickets!

After the game we went to Irvine to eat at one of my old favorite places to eat-Stonefire Grill. I used to have it catered at my work and it was so good, so I had to take Jeremy to try it out. It was sooooooo good! Jeremy loved it too. It's really yummy BBQ but its cheap! For less than $25 we got tri tip, ribs, chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, caesar salad, and breadsticks! Everyone needs to try it, you'll have leftovers and they are delicious.
