Baby it's cold outside!

I have something to say........snow is not that cool! Jeremy and I have agreed that the snow was great when you were visiting the mountains/Utah, for vacation, snowboarding, etc.....but living in it is NOTHING fun! Luckily there's been only 2 Noreaster's this month and we will be away for 2 weeks enjoying much better weather back in CA. This December has been a tough one with Jeremy being sick with a nagging cold and my back going out a few times...and to top it off Kylee got a cold with an ear infection! But we have been able to get out and enjoy Christmas City USA aka Bethlehem, PA.......touring through downtown bethlehem with all of the lights, the snow, the Christmas trees...its georgeous down there. Here are some recent pictures....

Mall Christmas Tree

Bundle up its cold outside! (14 degrees today!)

Jeremy made this snow angel tonight (Saturday) and I thought I would document it! Our flight leaves Philly on Monday morning and were hoping we can make that flight and get home for the holidays! We are so excited to see our families and be away for a bit. Kylee is just about to crawl so maybe it will happen during vacation where everyone can see her! She's starting to wave randomly and grin, something Jeremy has been working on for awhile with her.....she adores her Daddy and loves giving him kisses when he gets home from work!
Well this will be our last post until we get back, wish us luck! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year 2010!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we spent Thanksgiving with some friends in our ward here in Bethlehem. Shannon and Becky cooked an amazing Thanksgiving dinner!!! It was fun to visit and snack on yummy appetizers all day long until it was time to eat our actual meal. We are so thankful for our family, new friends, good health and a mild winter so far :) anlong with much, much more.
Shannon showed Jeremy how to carve the turkey!
Look at that 30lb bird!

I had to post this pic for everyone to see... Jeremy helping cook in the kitchen! He did a great job!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Happy Birthday!!!

November 19th was Jeremy's 26th birthday!!! We celebrated with a few gifts and eating bbq ribs, twice baked potatoes and his favorite cake... rocky road!! We hope to go to New York soon to celebrate more there. Kylee and I love you so much Jeremy!!! Happy Birthday!!!

We also celebrated Kylee's 6 month birthday!! I can't believe she is half way to one. She has been into so many new things lately. She loves rolling all over the living room. We have given her squash and green beans and she loves them both. She also loves chewing on the top of her sippy cup. She says, "dadadadada....."all day long. We will have to work on "mama." She likes to sleep on her stomach a lot which I think is so cute! She got her 6 month shots yesterday, two in each leg. Poor thing. But she slept GREAT last night.
Here are her stats:
Weight: 16.5 lbs (75%)
Height: 28 in (100%)

Here is our long baby girl. Right now she is wearing size 3 diapers and 6-12 month clothes.

Mmmmm....messy!

We gave Kylee rice cereal tonight for the first time. We didn't know what to expect but the video is pretty funny. The cereal seemed really runny, but I followed the instructions for a baby's first time feeding. She didn't seem too interested. Kylee is not really interested in nursing during the day so I'm hoping she will like eating cereal so she won't need to eat at night as much. We'll see.

Happy Halloween!!

Here are some pictures of our Halloween weekend. Jeremy's friend Tyler stayed with us and they watched football all day long. We played dress up with Kylee and took some pictures of her in her Halloween costume, then we headed to the ward Trunk or Treat. Kylee didn't last long but it was still fun. Our pumpkin was finally carved Halloween night. Jeremy and Tyler cored the pumpkin and I did the cool design. Better late than never!
