An apple a day...

April 20th - Kylee's first dental appointment!  She was actually really excited about it as you can see the smile on her face.  We talked about what would happen before so she would feel comfortable.  I think what really ended up being comforting was being able to watch Dora the Explorer on the flat screen tv mounted on the wall with her own head set.  It was a pretty cool dental office and very kid friendly.

 The dentist came in and checked all her teeth.  No cavities!!! This made me so happy :)

She chose cherry fluoride to get her teeth cleaned. After she said it was sour. Maybe she will choose bubble gum next time.

I was so proud of how well she did in the chair. The dentist told us to keep brushing and hopefully she won't get any cavities.  She really is growing up.  The next day we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate.  She got to ride her favorite horse!  

Easter Festivities...

April and May really did fly by! Since I use this blog as sort of a journal/photo album I have a lot of catching up to do!  We had a nice Easter.  I love that Kylee is old enough and gets really excited to do fun things like dye Easter eggs!!  Austin was a trooper and watched from his high chair :)

The Easter bunny brought the kids some fun things!!  They both got new swim suites and flip flop sandals for the summer, along with a few eggs filled with candy :)

We spent Easter Sunday with my parents in Riverside.  The kids had a blast doing the Easter egg hunt.  Kylee found enough eggs for herself and Austin.  As I was writing this post I realized we didn't get a nice Easter Sunday family pic!  We'll have to take one later. 

 Kylee was pretending to be the chorister and led us in song.  haha....

Our trip to Utah!!

In March for spring break we went to visit Jeremy's brother and his family in St George, UT.  We got to see their new house and it was gorgeous!  Kylee and Austin had so much fun playing with all the cousins!  We went to a place called "Jumping Jacks".  The kids had so much run running around like crazy, and even uncle Scott and Jeremy got in on the action.

All the kids ready for an afternoon walk.  It was fun to walk around the neighborhood and check out all the new houses being built.  I think I have mine picked out! lol.

We took a trip up to Zion's National Park.  This was the first time our kids had been and I think they had a lot of fun!  It was a beautiful day.  We packed a lunch and went on a little hike... as best you can with toddlers and babies :)

Later that day we went to down town St. George and rode the carousal.   The kids had fun but that thing made me so incredibly nauseous.  Don't think I'll be riding one again ever.

We had such a fun trip and can't wait to visit again soon!  When we got back to CA we celebrated Papa's birthday and Grandma Murdock's last day of radiation treatment.
